Commercial Litigation

All businesses will at some stage in their cycle be involved in disputes.

This will range from routine, day to day issues, to substantial problems that threaten the survival of the business. Platinum Partnership Solicitors’ team of specialist commercial litigation and dispute resolution solicitors are ideally placed to advise clients at any stage of a dispute. We provide robust, clear and practical advice to our clients and aim always to understand their commercial needs and objectives.

We understand that one of the paramount concerns to clients involved in litigation or dispute resolution is the level of cost involved and the ability to monitor and budget for those costs on a regular basis. We use bespoke software, designed by our in-house litigation costs analyst, to provide detailed and tailored budgets at the outset of a dispute. Our budgeting service provides a breakdown of the work and how much it will cost at each stage. This gives our clients greater certainty as to costs and cash flow.

Many disputes involve a significant volume of electronic documentation, in particular emails, which will need to be searched and reviewed during the course of a dispute. We have extensive experience of using specialist software and disclosure management systems, supplied by leading service providers, which can considerably reduce the time (and therefore cost) that would otherwise be involved in this aspect of our work.

The Commercial Litigation department has substantial depth of resources and expertise making it a robust force to reckon with! We cover:

  • Contract disputes
  • Corporate claims and shareholder disputes
  • Debt recovery
  • Franchising
  • Insolvency-related disputes
  • Intellectual Property
