Nasreen, the founder of Platinum Partnership Solicitors, is a pioneering force in the legal field, leaving a lasting impact. She began her journey at Manchester Metropolitan University, honing her legal expertise. Beyond the courtroom, Nasreen is a Director of the West and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, committed to regional growth. She is also the visionary founder and Chair of the BAME Business Committee, championing diversity in the business world. As an award-winning Solicitor, Nasreen excels in Commercial and Residential Property, Family Law, Contracts, Trade Marks, and Litigation.
Born 1953 and educated North Yorkshire. Qualified as solicitor in London, and worked in West End for 15 years before returning to Yorkshire in 1989. Became Senior Parter in Runhams solicitors in Bradford in 1997, joining Platinum solicitors as consultant in 2013. Specialises in contract and commercial property law and conveyancing.
Paul has been a solicitor since 1978. He studied at Cambridge University and became a law lecturer at Manchester Polytechnic before setting up Harold Stock & Co in Tameside and Oldham. He remained senior partner until 2007 and then as consultant at the firm until March 2021 joining Platinum to continue working in commercial property matters. Away from law Paul is to be found up mountains in the French Alps preferably in ski season.
Ed was born in Bradford, of Polish parents who settled in the UK after the war. One benefit is that he is fluent in Polish and often help clients from the Polish community. He studied for his Law Degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He qualified as a solicitor in 1980 and joined the new firm of Runhams, where he became a Partner and stayed through a number of changes in the firm for some decades, until retiring from partnership and working as a self-employed part-time consultant, which role he continues to enjoy. He specialises in litigation, in particular personal injury claims and Fatal Accidents, as well as general litigious matters and court work. He is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and PPS is a member firm of MASS (Motor Accident Solicitors Society) which centres on justice for victims of road accidents. Outside work, apart from children, grand- and now great-grandchildren, he and his wife have two border collies and four tortoises to keep them on their toes.
Mehwish joined Platinum Partnership Solicitors in 2021 with 8 years’ experience and specialises in residential conveyancing from residential sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of ownership and gifts of property, sales of deceased estates, leasehold properties, new build property and acting for purchasers acquiring properties from mortgagees in possession. When not working Mehwish loves going for walks in the country and playing badminton.
Anoop works in the Conveyancing field and has for some time now. He has experience with all aspects of Conveyancing and has worked exclusively in all the departments of Conveyancing. Gradually, from a paralegal profile he progressed to the Legal side of Conveyancing and he started with Platinum as a Conveyancing Executive recently. When away from work he loves spending his time painting.
Santhosh started his career as a paralegal in the Conveyancing field in 2021. He understood the available opportunities in that area and is eager to learn more. Figuring out clients’ queries and responding promptly has been one of his major skills. Out of the work, he really enjoys watching and playing football.
Abby is our receptionist/admin assistant. She has recently changed career paths and is keen to learn new skills and learn more about the industry. When not at work Abby enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
